Neuroscience and the Banjo

Eddie Adcock is a renowned banjo player from a place where there actually are renowned banjo players (Texas). He unfortunately developed a tremor in his hands that prevented him from playing, but there was a solution: brain surgery. An electrode in just the right place could prevent the tremor. The catch was that he needed to be awake for the entire operation. And he had to be playing the banjo. Surreal.
